The room felt cozy and homey, reminiscent of visiting a grandparent, with clean accommodations despite the age of the furnishings. The location is convenient, ideal for exploring nearby attractions, and the unique experience of visiting donkeys and a friendly cat added a special touch. However, the room was quite dated, with signs of wear and a lingering odor that detracted from comfort, and housekeeping could have been more thorough rather than just replacing towels.

The rooms were comfortable, perfect for crashing after exploring Death Valley and Rhyolite. The fridge was a nice touch. Staff were super helpful. Bonus points for being quiet at night! If you're looking for a solid spot without breaking the bank, this is it.
The only downside was the lack of an ice machine, which would have been nice for our drinks after a hot day.

Comfortable stay with charming touches
I had a great time in a spacious room with three queen-size beds, perfect for our family. The ability to open the windows for fresh evening air was a delightful bonus. My kids loved the friendly donkeys that visited us outside, and the internet connection was impressively fast for everyone to enjoy. One hiccup was the missing ice machine, which would have added convenience after our day out.

The culinary scene in Beatty is worth exploring! Happy Burro Chili and Beer hit the spot with their flavorful chili, while Smokin' J's Barbecue impressed with mouthwatering brisket. On top of that, the room was clean and comfortable, and check-in was a breeze.
A bit of a hiccup with some noisy neighbors one night, but staff checked in on us which was a nice touch. Also, an ice machine would’ve been a sweet perk after our adventures.

Rooms feature spacious layouts, modern furnishings, and a fridge perfect for the desert heat. Having the Beatty Historical Museum right across the street adds a nice touch to your stay, making it easy to explore local history.
Some rooms exhibit signs of dust, with lingering odors from the microwave and fridge that might deter those sensitive to smells. The air quality can feel stale without the heater running, leaving an unwelcoming vibe, likely from the older carpet and furnishings in need of an upgrade.

The room was clean and spacious with a cozy atmosphere, ideal for family stays. However, the soundproofing wasn't great, making it easy to hear neighbors. A lack of food options was a downside, but overall, it's a charming spot close to Death Valley.
